Weekend Update pt 2
Hey divas me again (wow shocker)
Now that we went over Saturday let's recap Sunday--yesterday. My mom and I took my grandma and grandpa to Plant City in Providence. I love my Grandma but boy is she critical sometimes. She didn't like where my mom parked, she didn't like that driving into the city made my mom a little nervous. But we had a really good lunch! I got a Margherita pizza and was sooo good. I love their cheese I crave it all the time it's insane. Thankfully the food was a hit with grandma though. She did try to interrogate some poor guy that just graduated from Brown on his way out of the restaurant...while we were being seated.
It was very busy downtown Providence because Brown had a graduation for their medical students and other people I don't remember. We walked around a little bit (grandpa can't walk too far anymore). We saw a wedding going on on the pedestrian bridge, but I feel bad for the bride cuz it was cold out and her dress looked pretty thin. On the way back to the car I got ice cream from this truck that was parked over by the park over there. It was a really cool concept they take the milk from cereal and make it into ice cream. I got strawberry frosted flakes and it was really good but the waffle cone was huge and took me five-ever to finish. It was expensive too.
When we got back to grandma and grandpa's house grandpa wanted to show me this lady that had an article in his RISD alumni magazine about having her own ice cream business. He thought it was the same place I had just gotten ice cream from, but upon further investigation I realized it was not the same place. (This lady was based in Oklahoma). But grandpa is convinced there is some ice cream plagiarism going on here (he didn't believe me when I told him waffle cones are not this woman's original idea).
