OT Again

                Idk how many people are actually going to read this; I'm sure you guys are sick of hearing me yap about my silly little Spanish singing show, but I can't stop. Consuming content related to this show is the only thing keeping me sane right now with less than a month left of school. 

                                    

               I have now watched so much of this show (season 1, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2023, and 2025 seasons) that I'm essentially an expert. There isn't much media online from the 2002-2011 seasons aka the old generation, so I know very little about those seasons. I did see a video I think from 2008 of two contestants singing Las de La Intuición (Shakira) (Note: I know that María and Marilia sang it in el chat in 2018, but this was a gala performance). Let's just say I can see why ratings went way down in the later seasons. 

            I think Manu and Noemí deserve the world. They have been a part of every single season since the beginning. Not only have they worked with so many amazingly talented artists (Aitana, David Bisbal, Amaia, Chenoa, etc.), but they really have been Mom and Dad to these kids every year helping make the Academy feel a little more like home. 

        I'm super excited to see clips of the tour, I just know it's gonna be so good. I think everyone from the 2025 season is so talented and all of them are gonna go really far in their careers (hopefully). 

               I have finally derived my potentially controversial ranking of my top 50 favorite performances from the seasons that I have seen.

What I'm Loving Right Now

           I keep meaning to post on here more regularly and then life starts lifeing and I forget I even have this blog. Anyway, I have a lot of stuff I want to yap about so here it is! Books I'm Reading: -The Mortal Instruments--real ones remember that I actually read this whole series for the first time 6 years ago, but a new Shadowhunters novella was released a few months ago and after I read that I realized how much I missed these characters. I have free will, so I decided to re-read the whole series starting with The Mortal Instruments for the third or fourth time. Nothing is gonna hit the same as reading these books for the same time when I was 14 but it hits different reading them as an adult and being able to understand and analyze more. I just finished City of Lost Souls (I'm skipping around to the parts I want to relive iykyk). I love Cassie Clare so much all her characters are so complex and nuanced.                Hi guys! I'm hopefully going to be posting on this blog regularly over the summer just for funsises. I'll prob be posting funny stories from work, pictures I've taken recently and literally anything I want.               If you don't know me irl, hi!!
